Carrie’s home is neither big nor luxurious, but it is warm,
comfortable, and lovely. When you enter it, you come to the kitchen where
plates are placed on shelf and cooking utensils
hang .Further on, you come to
the sitting-room, with sofa in the middle, book shelves around along the wall .
Imagine how sweet it is to get a book from the shelf to read under the lamp in
sofa after supper ! The guest room has a bed in it. The yellow quilts , the
light yellow wall, the white bed and the light-colored curtains go along with
each other , adding to the family atmosphere of the house.

When you come out, you find a meadow of at least 500 square meters.
Fences around separate the meadow from that of the neighbors. Far on the end is
a little garden in which vegetables grow. Somewhere near the house white chairs
are scattered around a table covered with red cloth. Carrie has kindly put some
cookies and sauces to treat us. Nearby lie some tree stumps, which serve as
stools when there is barbecue. What is most amazing is the big trees , as old
as one hundred years . A white hammock hangs across the two tree trunks. As the
tree leaves make shadows in the sunlight, the whole meadow is a place of light
and shadow, sunny, calm ,cool , peaceful. This is what I like most about the
house. Such huge meadow attached to a house! It is my dream! How I admire
Carrie!
